Happy Christmas

Well it's that time of year again. Pitches frozen, matches postponed, kids blue, and coaches wondering what to do with themselves. It's been quite a 12 months for me. The book saw lots of local media work coming in. I was offered a place with an online magazine football magazine and my football team went from Jets to Bee's.

As many of you know, sadly we lost our number 7, Samuel Berkley last December in tragic circumstances. In the summer we were considering changing the teams name. The most popular choice by far was Hattersley Bee's, a non towards industrial Manchester, the victims of the Manchester bomb and of course Sammy B.

The team marked Sam's passing on December 2 with a 3-2 victory, in a highly emotional game that was attended by many of Sam's family and friends.
